Nanjing Fiberglass Institute attended the iso/tc163 Seoul Conference on behalf of China and achieved fruitful results

iso/tc163 is the technical committee of "thermal effect and energy utilization of building environment" of the international organization for standardization. Its purpose is to reduce the dependence on non renewable resources and reduce the emission of harmful substances to the atmosphere through the application of energy-saving materials and technologies. In recent years, iso/tc163 has been committed to the research, development and application of building energy conservation technology, and has made fruitful efforts to promote global building energy conservation
Nanjing Fiberglass Institute, as the domestic counterpart of iso/tc163, has actively organized groups to participate in international standardization conferences for many years. 1. The proposal of "natural fiber thermal insulation material" proposed by China was accepted by the conference.
wool thermal insulation material is a new type of material independently developed by China, which has good sound absorption and thermal insulation properties, and is a pure natural green material. In 2007, Nanjing glass fiber Institute and kebosch Co., Ltd. jointly drafted the jc/t industry standard of wool sound absorption and thermal insulation products. During the meeting, the delegation introduced the development, application and standardization of the product in China to experts from various countries of iso/tc163, which attracted everyone's attention, especially Mr. Clifford, chairman of the insulation branch. With his help and support, the delegation put forward a proposal for the work item of developing "natural fiber insulation materials" to the meeting. After defense and discussion, the meeting unanimously adopted a resolution to propose the establishment of a special working group (PWI) to carry out work for the project of developing standards for natural fiber insulation materials, and decided that China would be the convener. At the meeting, the representatives of Canada, South Korea and South Africa made it clear that they wanted to participate in this work. At present, the project license is being applied to the National Bureau of standardization of China in accordance with the working procedures of ISO. It is planned to further report the work progress at the annual meeting of iso/tc163 next year, and formally establish the new work project (NWI) group through the defense of experts from various countries. This will be the first international standard proposal proposed by China for products with Chinese independent intellectual property rights in the entire iso/data display tc163 international standard system
2. The revision of iso8143 international standard participated by China was successfully completed. Iso8143 "thermal insulation products for building equipment and industrial installation - calcium silicate products" is an important product standard formulated by iso/tc163. The proposal for the revision of the standard was adopted at the Tokyo Conference in 2005. Tc163/sc3/wg7 is responsible for the project work, and the convener is the United Kingdom. At the beginning of the project work in 2005, Chen Shang and Cheng Gang of Nanjing glass fiber Institute participated in the revision of the standard as Chinese experts. They went deep into the main domestic calcium silicate product production enterprises and application units, and put forward five major revision opinions, including the main specifications and performance indicators of the products, in combination with the production process and product performance of calcium silicate products in China. They were valued by experts from all countries and adopted by the standard, The opinions and requirements of China are well reflected in international standards. At this meeting, it was announced that the revision of the standard has been completed and will be released this year. The implementation of the new standard will effectively improve the position of Chinese calcium silicate products in the international market
3. China has participated in the new work project of revising three international standards, including mineral wool filled insulation materials
this meeting passed ISO "insulation materials - mineral wool loosely filled insulation materials for ventilated roofs - Part 1: material specifications and test methods", The new work project (NWI) for the revision of ISO "cellulose loosely filled insulating materials for ventilated roofs - Part 1: material specifications" and aluminum alloy ISO "cellulose loosely filled insulating materials for ventilated roofs - Part 3: Test methods" for obtaining rough parts of various shapes. The convener is Canada, and the work cycle of the project team is two years. It is hoped that Chinese experts will participate in the project team and work together with experts from Denmark, Belgium, South Korea, South Africa and Japan. The delegation recommended Wang jiaqinggao of Nanjing Fiberglass Institute as a Chinese expert to participate in the work of the project, which was recognized by the working group. This shows that China, as a major country in the production and application of fiber filled thermal insulation materials, is receiving more and more international attention, and the international standard formulation hopes to listen to China's views more
4. Completion and integration of the standard project "expression of real energy consumption in buildings"
iso/np 12655 "expression of real energy consumption in buildings" standard work project was proposed by China at the iso/tc163 Nanjing annual meeting in 2008. At the 2009 Zurich annual meeting, it was decided to establish the proposal as a new work project (NWI), and the convener was China. Over the past two years, academician Jiang Yi of Tsinghua University led his team to work with people from Finland, Norway, Australia Experts from Japan and other countries worked together, and the project progressed smoothly. As the work area of this standard intersects with iso/tc205, ISO management decided to establish a joint working group (JWG). At this annual meeting, iso/tc163 decided to integrate the project into iso/tc163/wg4 and complete the standard formulation together with iso/tc205. This integration has straightened out the working relationship in various fields, cleared away the obstacles in the system, and widened the application field of the standard
