Precautions for installation of zero sequence current transformer
10 kV neutral grounding system through low resistance is widely used in large cities across the country. Zero sequence protection devices of 10 kV lines in substations and switching stations are increasingly used in the form of external zero sequence current transformers. Since zero sequence current transformers were not used much in the past, many problems were found in the installation and use, and some even caused the zero sequence protection devices to refuse to operate in case of grounding fault, and the protection bypassed the level
1 installation problems
(1 Lilian idea takes the meaning of "hand in hand") the zero sequence current transformer should be installed on the bottom plate of the switchgear, should be fixed with a reliable support, and won the third place in a competition. However, some manufacturers or construction units install the zero sequence current transformer on the support under the bottom plate of the switchgear, and even bind the zero sequence current transformer to the cable, which violates the principle of full closure of the switchgear. It is neither safe nor dust-proof, nor small animals, leaving many hidden dangers
(2) after the cable terminal passes through the external zero sequence current transformer, the relative position between the cable metal shielding ground wire and the external zero sequence current transformer is incorrect. According to the regulations of Beijing electrical engineering installation specification: the metal sheath at the terminal of three core power cable must be well grounded; The copper shield and steel armor of each phase of plastic cable should be tin welded with ground wire (the lead package and armor of oil impregnated paper insulated cable should be welded with ground wire). When the cable passes through the zero sequence current transformer, the cable metal sheath and ground wire should be insulated from the ground. When the cable grounding point (the welding point between the cable grounding wire and the cable metal shield) is below the transformer, the ground wire should be directly grounded (see Figure 1); When the grounding point is above the transformer, the grounding wire should pass through the transformer for grounding (see Figure 2). The grounding wire must be connected to the special grounding copper bar in the switchgear. The grounding wire must be copper stranded wire or tinned copper braided wire, and the cross section of the grounding wire must meet the requirements of the specification. During the inspection, it was found that some cable grounding wires were not threaded when they should be threaded through the zero sequence current transformer, and some cables that should not be threaded through the zero sequence current transformer were penetrated instead, resulting in the incorrect action of the accident grounding zero sequence protection
(3) the magnetic circuit of current transformer is not closed due to the relatively large cable terminal. At present, the commonly used 10 kV power cable is a three core cross-linked polyethylene cable, with a cross-section of 240 mm2 and 300 mm2. The outer diameter of the cable is thicker, and the hot-melt sealant attached to the three core gloves is thicker. The zero sequence current transformer cannot be sleeved. During construction, the zero sequence current transformer interface is disassembled, and the cable is sleeved. He once worked in spear System Inc., Netstal Machinery Inc Doug Carson associates and DaTARIUS GmbH worked but forgot to recover; Some are restored, but the interface is not restored strictly; Moreover, the three core separation of the terminal head is thicker than the inner diameter of the zero sequence current transformer, and it is just stuck in the middle of the zero sequence current transformer, so that the zero sequence current transformer interface cannot be closed again, resulting in the magnetic circuit of the zero sequence current transformer is not closed and cannot work normally
(4) the secondary connection of the zero sequence current transformer was opened during the cable construction, and it was not recovered in time after the work was completed, resulting in the open circuit of the secondary coil of the current transformer
(5) the grounding terminal of the metal sheath grounding wire of the cable is not welded with the terminal, nor connected to the grounding copper bar set in the switchgear, but casually lapped on the bolt of the switchgear
2 correct construction method
10 kV line zero sequence protection device adopts external zero sequence current transformer, which should be noted in the design and construction:
(1) ensure that the inner diameter of the selected zero sequence current transformer is greater than the outer diameter of the cable terminal
(2) try not to remove the zero sequence current transformer during construction. If it must be removed, it must be restored to its original state after the work is completed
(3) the grounding wire must be copper stranded wire or tinned copper braided wire. The cross section of the grounding wire should not be less than 25 mm2. The grounding terminal should be welded, and the relative position between the grounding wire and the zero sequence current transformer should be correctly handled. The grounding wire must be installed on the grounding copper bar
(4) the zero sequence protection system should be set before power on recently to ensure that the protection works normally
